Ovarian Cancers / Uterus Cancers / CA Cervix

Ovarian cancer, uterine cancer (endometrial cancer), and cervical cancer are three distinct types of gynecological cancers that affect the female reproductive system. Each type originates in different parts of the reproductive organs and has unique characteristics.

Ovarian Cancer:

Ovarian cancer starts in the ovaries, which are the two small, almond-shaped organs that produce eggs and hormones in women.

Symptoms:

  • Bloating
  • Pelvic or abdominal pain
  • Difficulty eating or feeling full quickly
  • Urinary urgency or frequency
  • Changes in bowel habits
Uterine Cancer (Endometrial Cancer):

Uterine cancer, specifically endometrial cancer, starts in the lining of the uterus (endometrium).

Symptoms:

  • Abnormal vaginal bleeding, especially after menopause
  • Pelvic pain or pressure
  • Watery or bloody discharge
Cervical Cancer:

Cervical cancer develops in the cells of the cervix, the lower part of the uterus that connects to the vagina.

Symptoms:

  • Abnormal vaginal bleeding, especially after intercourse
  • Pelvic pain or pain during intercourse
  • Watery or bloody discharge
